Hey there, I'm JK, nice to meet you!

I am a highly skilled and experienced technical leader with a passion for cloud computing. I have extensive experience with Google Cloud & AWS, and building out Kubernetes & serverless architectures, developing software utilising languages such as TypeScript, Go, and Ruby. I have architected and delivered a number of scalable, robust and secure cloud architectures at organisations of varying sizes from three to thirty-thousand people. I have a special interest in security and testing to ensure what I deliver works and is secure.

I am a team player and have a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality software products. I usually start by focusing on the customer and their needs, and working backwards. I am also a quick learner and am always eager to learn new technologies. I am also unusually obsessed with cutting cloud costs wherever I can & where it makes sense.

I really love building things, be it software, cloud infrastructure, helping to augment software teams to be elite performers or build out scalable and secure platforms. As a technical leader, I enjoy helping and uplifting capabilities from all I interact with and keep my tools sharp by attending conferences and experimenting with numerous side projects. In my day to day I love helping my team and my customers build and operate reliable, scalable, and secure software and platforms.
